If you are new to Waterloo, you need to come into City Hall to sign up for utility service at your new residence and pay any utility deposits that may be applicable before you take possession of the property.

Vehicle stickers are necessary for residents to utilize our lawn waste facility located at Lakeview Park.

If you are moving out of Waterloo, you need to come into City Hall to sign a “Read-Out” form, pay your utility bill up to date, and give your forwarding address so your final bill and/or utility deposit may be forwarded to you promptly.

If you are moving to another residence in Waterloo, you need to come into City Hall to sign a “Read-Out” form for your old address, pay your utility bill up to date, and apply for utility service at your new address.

Utility deposits are refunded automatically after twelve months of consecutive timely payment.

Leaf burning is allowed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm. No burning is permitted on City streets.

The Monroe County Recycle Center is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon.
