Chef Jennifer Kennedy received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Culinary at Nichols State University in Thibodaux, LA. During that time she trained in Italy and later, directly after graduation, worked in New Orleans for Ralph Brennan at his restaurant, Ralphs on the Park. Hurricane Katrina came in 2005, destroying her home and much of New Orleans. She returned to Illinois, where she was raised. She brought back with her, her love of Seafood and her passionate desire to use farm fresh, local ingredients. Her restaurant has been featured in the Riverfront Times, Sauce Magazine and recently her crab pasta was chosen as one of the “50 Best Dishes in St. Louis” by the St. Louis Magazine. Some other accolades are the “A-List St. Louis Magazine 2009” “Best New Restaurants – Outdoor Seating” “A-List St. Louis Magazine 2010,” and Best Reason to Cross the River! Chef Kennedy is well versed in paleo-based and gluten free diets and she is always happy to come to your table to discuss your specific restrictions.
