The City of Waterloo is proud to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary with a limited-edition Waterloo Celebrates America 250 Challenge Coin, now available for $10 at City Hall, while supplies last.
The coin honors both our nation’s founding and Waterloo’s early history, featuring the America 250 logo and historic local landmarks including the Bellefontaine House and the James Moore Cabin.
Waterloo’s coin is part of a six-coin collection created in collaboration with Monroe County, the City of Columbia, and the Villages of Maeystown, Hecker and Valmeyer. Each coin reflects the unique heritage of its community while celebrating this historic milestone.
