Please join us as we honor Monroe County’s First Responders.

This is a community event where we will be dedicating the new Monroe County First Responder Memorial, which pays tribute to local first responders who have fallen in the line of action.

The official unveiling and dedication of the new memorial will take place on Saturday, May 7 at 10AM. The memorial is located at the William Zimmer Park, 730 Rogers Street, Waterloo, IL 62298.

Parking will be available at the parking lots of several surrounding businesses(Foundations Montessori School, The Backyard Learning Center, Concord Presbyterian Church and the Rogers Pointe business complex), please reserve the Zimmer Park parking lot for handicapped or elderly that wish to attend.
