The Waterloo Police Department, in partnership with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, will again be hosting the Senior Police Academy. Classes will be held at the Sheriff’s Dept. training center at 225 E 3rd St from 1-3pm each Wednesday, from October 1 through November 19.
The program covers topics such as CPR/First Aid, senior health & fitness, frauds & scams, driving safety, etc. The Senior Academy is open to those age 50 and older. This is a free program, financed by the Waterloo Police Community Services Fund.
