Update: The burn ban has been lifted, effective 10/27/22.
Due to the dangerous fire weather conditions caused by prolonged dry and windy conditions, and the Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service, the Waterloo City Council passed a resolution on October 17th banning all outdoor burning and fires in city limits effective immediately until further notice.
