The City of Waterloo is proud to have outstanding citizens in the community. Each quarter, we honor an outstanding citizen by presenting to them the "Good Neighbor" Award.
If you know someone who has been an ideal citizen or someone who has done a good deed, please nominate them.
Guidelines:
- The nominee must be a resident within the Waterloo city limits.
- The good deed must occur within the Waterloo city limits.
- The Good Neighbor Award will be awarded quarterly based on submitted applications.
- Winners will be awarded a certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor and City Council along with a gift certificate from Happy Hour Sports Bar during a City Council meeting which are held Monday evenings at 7:30pm
